“Your Local now has a Retiree Committee!” It meets every other month on the third Thursday at 3:00 P.M. at the Local. One of its goals is to rekindle the camaraderie once shared with our brothers and sisters while you were working. It is the Local’s hope that all retirees will use these meetings as a chance to visit and catch up with other retirees that you have not seen in some time.
At some of the meetings there will be guest speakers. At others you will have a chance to meet retirees that you did not know while you were working, but who now have similar interests as you. In 2009, we are hoping to have day trips such as fishing, Atlantic City, or golf.
We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming Retiree Committee meeting. Please come and bring another Local 2090 retiree with you!”
